The first Royal Commission established to investigate a potential new capital city will be chaired by former Queen of Uskor, Katherine the Great who is currently a mayor of the city of Wallander.
The Royal Commission
with the Commissioner is entitled to investigate the a suitable location for a potential new capital city, what arrangements may be needed to be made, reasons for and against a potential move and the costings of such a move from the current capital Tyrshavn.
The second Royal Commission is tasked with investigating potential names for any potential new capital city.
This Royal Commission is headed up by the High Queen herself with the Prime Minister the Jarl of New Munster being Deputy Commissioner, it is expected that the name will reflect either a Celtic or Norse theme.
A Royal Commission is a type of public enquiry that is established by the High Queen using her reserve powers and carries with it the same judicial powers of the court system as well as the power to compel testimony.
Both Royal Commissions are expected to give preliminary findings in mid April 2019.
