Her Majesty the High Queen today put into effect a total fire ban for the whole of the

Commonwealth of Uskor.
In her role as the chief of Civil Defence Uskor the High Queen has the power to declare fire
bans if she feels that there is significant threat of bushfires that may be caused by the lighting of fires without the consent of Civil Defence Uskor.

With temperatures expected this week and possibly for the rest of January to remain in the the thirties and possibly even extend to the forties Civil Defence Uskor is worried about the risk to life and property of significant parts of the Commonwealth.
Civil Defence Uskor urges everyone to take precautions against the heat including remembering to drink lots of water, check on at risk persons and to slip, slop, slap, and slide.
Civil Defence Uskor also recommends creating a bushfire plan and having your important documents and emergency supplies in a handy location in-case you need to evacuate or otherwise leave in a hurry.
The full decree including penalties for breaching the total fire ban can be found here
