The Commonwealth of Uskor today goes to the polls to decide on four questions that the Uskorian Landtag voted in December to put to the Uskorian People.
The primary question of the referendum is if Uskor should stay or leave the Grand Unified Micronational, as per the GUM Withdrawal Act 2018 which was passed by the Landtag the

people of Uskor must vote to leave the Grand Unified Micronational (GUM) with more than 51% of the vote, if the measure fails to reach the threshold the Commonwealth of Uskor will remain within the international body.
Polling places the No or remain vote as leading with approximately 52%.
The question of the national flag is also before the Uskorian people after the Landtag's delegates determined that the flag design was too close to the design of the Principality of Liechtenstein, the first question on the flag being should the national flag be changed, and the second question being a question of which one of six potential designs resonates the most with Uskorian citizens.
There is some controversy over the inclusion of the Southern Cross in some of the proposed designs with some delegates of Landtag concerned that the Southern Cross is seen as symbol of far right racists in neighbouring Australia and may give the wrong impression about Uskor and Uskor's citizens.
The Prime Minister Her Serene Highness the Jarl of New Munster Inspector Claire Nymoria MdL (Labour) hit back at these claims stating that "We cannot ceede anything to the far right and neo fascists and neo nazis, this is their MO they steal symbols like the Southern Cross and runes and other symbols and we shouldn't give them anything, the southern cross is a representation of our land in the southern hemisphere".
The results will be released tonight at 20:30 UDT or 20:00 AEDT.
